Transit

A Transit Visa is given to persons of foreign origin who wish to make a short stop over in Indonesian territory and are on an onward journey to another country, to their country of origin, to join or work on a transport vehicle that will continue its journey outside Indonesian territory.

Passenger could obtain Transit Visa on Arrival, which is valid for stopovers within Indonesian territory due to emergencies affecting transport vehicles and other legitimate causes, resulting in a delay in that journey and verified by the proper authorities.

However, for those who working on vessels passing through Indonesia the visa is valid for two weeks. Submit the following documents to the Consular Section and your Transit Visa will be issued in one day only. Requirements

  1. Passport valid at least 6 (six) months after planned date of entry to Indonesia.
  2. Filled-out application form (download here).
  3. 1 (one) passport size photograph in color.
  4. Itinerary program.
  5. Visa Fee: Nok 120,00 per person.
  6. Proof of paid visa fee (copy of receipt).
  7. Endorsement or amendment within the passport can not be issued for the visa purposes.
  8. For those who want to apply Transit Visa to the Indonesian Embassy in Oslo using mail services, please send all of the documents including the original passport, and return-paid envelope (registered post/rekommandert post) to our address:

  6. Consular office hours : Monday – Thursday : 10.00 – 14.00. Friday : 10.00 – 12.00
  7. The Embassy will be closed on Indonesian and Norwegian National Holidays.
