Temporary Stay
| LIMITED/TEMPORARY STAY VISA (VITAS)
A limited/temporary stay visa is issued for working and non-working purposes, such as foreign investment, family re union, repatriation, retirement, etc. It’s issued to applicant whose purpose of visit is to stay in Indonesia for a limited period. A limited/Temporary Stay Visa (VITAS) is granted upon authorization from the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta. To expedite the authorization, it is advisable to have the sponsor in Indonesia also submit the application directly to the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta.
This visa is valid if presented within 90 (ninety) days from the date of issuance.

| Requirements For Limited/Temporary Stay Visa: | |
| 1. | Original Passport, with a minimum validity of at least 18 months from the date of entry into Indonesia. |
| 2. | A completed visa application form, duly dated and signed. (Download here). |
| 3. | 1 (one) passport-size photograph in color. |
| 4. | A written approval/authorization letter from the Directorate of Immigration in Indonesia |
| 5. | A formal invitation or support letter from the sponsor. |
| 6. | A flight-reservation (itinerary) upon submission of the application. |
| 7. | Proof of paid visa by transfer payment. |
| 8. | Visa application by mail should enclose a self-stamped and addressed envelope for register post (rekommandert) or any other service that the applicant deems safe. The Embassy of Indonesia is not responsible for any applications or passports that are lost in mail. |

| 1. | The Embassy will not accept cash payment. Visa fee may be paid by transfer to The Embassy Account No. 7058 05 55568 (International Bank Account Number/IBAN: NO05 7058 0555 568. BIC (Swift-address): DNBANOKKXXX). Please enclosed the receipt together with the visa application. |
| 2. | The fee for less than 6 months is NOK.300,- and for 1 year is NOK.700,- |
| 3. | Endorsement or amendment within the passport cannot be used for the visa purposes and we will return your application and passport if we found there are no blank visa pages on the passport. |
| 4. | Upon submitting the application the applicant is required to produce the supporting documents or the Embassy may request additional information or documents at any time if needed. |
| 5. | Applicant of non-Norwegian citizen, must provide a copy of valid Norwegian Temporary/Permanent Residence permit, and for Nordic countries, a valid ID in Norway (Ex. bank card or driving license) must be submitted. |
| 6. | Incomplete applications will not be processed. |
| The visa processing completed in a short time when all requirements submitted by hand or it takes 7-10 working days when it’s obtained by mail. | |
