NufficNeso Indonesia, the Dutch non-profit institutions of higher education is building the people`s creativity through blog writing competition under the theme Dutch Creativity, Director of NufficNeso Indonesia Mervin Bekker said in a press release received here Wednesday night.
“The competition is to motivate the Indonesian people to read and get information as well as to learn how to express the information in articles to be disseminated to the public,” Mervin Bekker said.
He admitted although he is a Dutchman, previously he did not know if there was a plan to make a mountain in the Netherlands.
It is not surprising because almost all the plots of land in the country are flat, one fourth of which located below the sea level.
“Frankly I do not know about the flying car or a dance floor in Rotterdam that can produce electricity from the movement of the dancers, or the creative ideas of the Dutchmen to collect plastic waste in the ocean to be recycled into a residential island,” Mervin said.
The creative ideas of the Dutchmen are carried by the participants in interesting articles to enhance the outlook and give inspiration to the Indonesian people in general.
“I am really impressed by the articles and hopefully next year we can carry out a similar competition,” Mervin added.
Meanwhile, a member the organizing committee from NufficNeso Indonesia, Inty Dienasari said Kompetiblog Study in the Netherlands is an online writing competition organized by NufficNeso Indonesia in collaboration with the Utrecht Summer School and PT. Silang Saling.
